::Kagetsuchi East::

"I hate it here so much. Fucking - fuck this stupid pilgrimage."

"He-he-heeeeeey slow down. What about it? Haha - oh that, you know they're taking it easy on you huh? You mean you cant tell? Its not about the pilgrimage. Its the people - its about patience. I was there once, the Sanzou send you along all kinds of pilgrimages to different places and tell you: "Spread the blessing of the ━━━ name to all those that need spiritual solace." but they know most people don't want that. And they wouldnt let them in that easy if they did. Look around. In all of Kagetsuchi they gave you the eastern district. The residential block - where all the quiet, hard working - white collar villagers come to get their peace and solace after a long day. Sure, theres a small modest market here, and yeah - you can still hear the busy crowds of central even from here. But they put you away from it all. Its about patience, and they know you dont have it. So they put you here - in the quietest part of Kagetsuchi. Hm? Ai? Heh - Cotton Candy. Its what I call you two. Inseperable but ya both get so gunked up on each other when ya around. Pink and blue. Heh, you cant compare yourself to her all the time. Shes called "Iceheart" for a reason, hell I barely can get a laugh out of her. Look. Theres a temple here in the easten district. North of the residence plaza. Go there - meditate a bit and give it another go."

Through the gate and down into this residential district, the bustle of people died down into a murmur, leaving them mostly with silence. Her eyes scanned their surroundings and fell on Ko still lumbering around with his heap of food. A laugh was stifled, hiding her amusement in the curve of her elbow as its hand rest on the opposite shoulder. ”Okay, don’t stop, but can you uh... slow down? We have to figure out where we’re going.” She knew what they were there for, but not really what to do once they got there or how to find him. Her arms shifted to cross over her chest, empty plate in hand til she could find a place to throw it away. ”How about you eat and we will ask around? If we’re going to run into trouble here, I don’t think it’d be a good idea to have our arms full.” She took a couple things from the top of Ko’s pile to help him out. ”I doubt Izanagi will be here and not in the central beat of the village, but we might find a better way to get to him if we ask. Or maybe we should just head for the busy streets. It’s quiet here. What do the two of you think?”

Part of her felt like she should cover up the Rinnegan, it attracted a lot of eyes in passing and it was attention she didn’t want to draw to them. Especially not here, if the New Burning Dawn was already here. It was definitely something she was considering on the table, and had the means to do so. The silver ribbon still wrapped around her hair could make a temporary eyepatch, and she could leave her hair down to help.

The residential district was ominously quiet one could hear a pin drop, but he could hear the bustling crowd originating from the center of the village. Just as before, Kirinji proceeded to follow behind both of them as the peculiar Ko made his way down indulging himself in the free food, if it were free. Perhaps it was his cautious personality, but he didn’t really believe in something ever being free. Everything came with a price. Gains to be gained somewhere and losses to be incurred elsewhere. And with what the shopkeeper told him about this village, he would respectfully deny any and all individuals handing out food with a hand gesture signaling no, no and a smile.

Kasami was the first to speak up and suggested a plan of action while also asking for their opinions. He didn’t know about either of them, but he wanted to keep moving forward rather than stopping here and asking for directions. While in thought his eyes looked around at the quiet residential district believing that not many would talk here, even if they knew the information. From the few people he had seen walking around the district, they all seemed like hard working individuals who minded their business and alternated between work and home. Individuals minding their own business. It was the thought that prompted him to respond the way he did. ”We should move towards the crowd. It’s quiet out here and people can tell we aren’t from here. At least there we'll be able to blend in with the crowd and find out more information, whether it be visual or by asking around.” His eyes jumped between the two as he stood there with his arms crossed over his chest, waiting for their answer.

=It only took a few moments. As they got inside he could see the way that the kids along the side of some of the buildings were looking at the pile of food that he was bringing. His gaze bolted left - then right...they were on a mission after all though in the same scope he figured it may be a good thing - looking so conspicuous, so comfortable like you just belong there. He'd gotten carried away with the food and that brought another thing to his attention. Why in the hell was his appetite booming so much? He'd never been hungry like that before - usually he ate enough just to keep the butterflies out of his stomach and he was good for the rest of the day save maybe a snack or two later. He'd gotten glutonous there a moment - and it showed. He looked back at the children gazing at his food like it was a plate cast over the moon: "Geez its like I'm the fucking Ice Cream man or something, sheesh." =It wasn't long then that Ko was just a bit off to the side squated down dividing out food to the children that were there. It was free anyway - so he definitely didn't mind though it still, it was a wonder to him why at all they were settling here and not out on the bridge with everyone else. He listened to Kirinji speaking while he divied out the food and when they started to speak about finding out where they were going he looked at one of the kids and asked him about the tallest building over in central that they could see from here. The child told him about that being where all the adults went and wanted to go, that it was where important people went and they heard their parents talking about it all the time. He looked over at the building and chuckled a bit at the fact that he had found himself saying these words before, mostly because almost all the time they were true: "Heh, King of the castle always likes to sit the highest.". With that being said - his eyes cast down back towards the road they had to walk towards the central district and his expression dropped - flushing back down calm...and even grim in a manner as the focus on his face was now absolutely transparent. He stepped back over towards the two of them with hands in pocket never taking his eyes off that end of the street as he commented:

"Yeah. I'd have to say I agree. This is quiet and a good place to catch our bearings and all for that reason, maybe we'll just call this district a meet up spot - find somewhere we can bed down if need be. Base camp y'know. But all the info and progress is gonna be in the thick of it. And im sure as busy with the day to day as people sound out there they wont notice three strangers trecking along as long as you cover up you're Rinnegan. There is just - one problem with that though. Our presence here is already exposed."

=As he said that he rubbed the tip of his nose, not in the manner that you may be used to someone doing it when their nose legitimately itched or when your abusive uncle with the drug problem inhaled a wiff of his favorite snow white treat. But it was the type like a psychological tick, one of irritation or confrontation. When he did that he swiped that same finger up down the end of the street where his pointing finger would stop upon a single, feminin figure far down the end of the road. Just as his eyes were not leaving her - hers were not leaving them. Sapphire eyes cast in a faint silver veiled under glacier blue hair. None other then Ai Yuki - was there at a flower shop staring them down. Her gaze was...for lack of better words - cold but her expression itself was independent, calm - and hard to read honestly. It was soft and yet cerebral in the same way that a young child watches something that its learning from for the first time. The store keep stood at the pick up window towards the street with a bouquet of sugar moon tea roses. The shop keep was trying to get her attention - but it was apparent that she was fixated at them at the moment. Ko's gaze was set upon her - mainly her hands keeping close eye to make sure he saw if she did any handseals or otherwise. But in the precipice of the staring match between them, she huffed and took the bouquet and walked off. Going towards the right side of the road between two houses with a very...very leisurely stroll. It was like she could care less that they were here. . . or maybe it was a trap? Who knew when it came to the icy kunoichi? Ko looked between the two of them and back down the road and commented in an almost self-questioning manner:

"That doesnt seem ominous or weird to anyone else?"

She nodded quietly when Ko mentioned covering her eye, silk against silk vibrating in her ears as she untied her hair and slid it off. Her white tresses tumbled around her shoulders, and she got her eye covered quickly with the silver ribbon and even moved part of her crimson bangs overtop of it as well to help. ”Sorry.” She mumbled under her breath, as if talking to nothing at all. Why would she be apologizing? But in actuality, she was apologizing to the eye, as if the Rinnegan was a sentient entity of its own. Sometimes with how responsive it was to her actions or her thoughts of its previous owner- she really felt like it was. Or she was just crazy, she wouldn’t rule that out either.

She was just finishing with her readjustments when she finally realized that Ko had his attention turned somewhere else. Her eyes, or eye at this present moment, followed his gaze down the road and she instantly recognized the woman whose attention was also fixated on them. There were a lot of things that crossed her mind in that moment, and not one of them was noticing that she was walking. Before the florist had even gotten her attention again, she was walking down the road towards her, but she was a ways away and she had only made it halfway by the time Ai started to leave. Her mind was racing. Sure, Ai had attacked them on that rooftop, but she knew that it was only because she had been engaged first by Ikki. The both of them were just standing there watching as Ko and the puppet user fought until that point, and she felt she had to step in to keep Ko from becoming outnumbered. She remembered her name from when a Yuki was mentioned, and she remembered something very important in the instant she saw her... important to her at least. In Kiyoshi’s manor among the pictures that scattered the wall, she saw a picture of Tatsumi and Ai together. Maybe she knew something...

Ai turned the corner into the alley between the houses, which caused Kasami to curse under her breath. ”Ai, wait! I just want to ask you something!”

She was the enemy, but Kasami was always the kind of person to give people a second chance. If she wasn’t, she’d have tried to kill Kirinji as soon as she saw him and he started butting his nose into her business about Ko. If she wasn’t, she wouldn’t have given Eiji a chance. Ai didn’t seem like the type to fight when it wasn’t needed, though she didn’t seem like a conversationalist either, so it felt fine to at least try to approach her. After she lost sight of the Yuki and called out to her, she’d picked up the pace drastically into an awkwardly polite jog, trying her best to catch up. As she turned the corner into the alley herself, she called out her name again in a pleading tone. ”Please, I just want to know if you’ve heard anything about Tatsumi.”

As they spoke about their preferences, Kirinji may have looked distracted as his head pivoted around, but he was keenly listening to each and every word. Even the sorry that escaped from Kasami as she covered her Rinnegan. Kirinji was looking the other way when Ko had mentioned something ominous and when said, he eyes reverted back towards Ko and then snapped toward what he was pointing at. It was a woman, a beautiful one at that, one with beautiful glacier blue hair. The longer he looked at her the more she became familiar. She was a part of the group that had attacked them during the night. He hadn’t really gotten a glimpse of her because he was occupied with taking care of a child and the green haired man, but now he could tell it was her.

He wouldn’t have known her by her name had it not been for her cold gaze. He recalled what Ikki had told him one of the nights during the time they had stayed at Kiyoshi’s manor. The group that had attacked them, the Burning Dawn, one of the members was known as Ai Yuki, a priestess with a heart cold as ice. And from that cold gaze Kirinji could tell it was her. Or it should be. Kirinji glanced toward Kasami, who had been walking towards her, and then back at Ai and the florist who was trying to get her attention. Ai huffed and began to reach out for the flowers and as he turned to leave, she’d see Kirinji six feet in front of her, who had relocated himself from his previous location to there soundlessly and within a blink of an eye.

His facial expression clearly portraying an intense intrigue with his eyebrows all furrowed and his head tilted to the side slightly. But it wasn’t at her, but rather the flowers. He’d bend his upper body forward a little bit and his eyes narrowed in on the flower, ”Those flowers are beautiful — what are they called?” there was a pause before beautiful as he glanced up towards her and straightened out his posture, his honeypool eyes trying to make whatever eye contact he could with her sapphire eyes. There was a warm smile on his face as he waited for her response.

". . ."

=The moment that the Uchiha stood in her path she had become annoyed. The air around her body was cold...much colder then the normal climate here quite apparently. However, negativity did not express upon her face - she was good about that to famous levels in actuality. So many things passed her mind in the moment that she turned and saw him there. Her gaze was almost pleading, sad - and unafraid to look him directly in the eye as he looked. Despite her expression and demeanor - her gaze itself and her lack of reluctance to look him in the eye spoke an intense confidence and comfort in herself when she looked at him as if to silently speak for him to get out of her way. There was no way that he could have known that in her mind - the only reason there was a trace of this in her expression...was that she was certain he would force her hand, and she'd have to kill him here - of all places. It wasn't even a debate or maybe to her in her mind. She knew that if confrontation escalated between the three of him towards her - then there would be three frozen corpses right here in the middle of the street...but she did not want that - no not here. If she could prevent it at all then she would - she had a mission, not a hitlist - and murder was only a tool meant to achieve an end. When she took the flowers her first reaction was to simply walk around the male in silence and continue on her way like she would have done so many aspiring Sanzou back at the temple when she was growing up and they tried to socialize. But she was a visionary. She believed that the way that things were formed there was no reason to be hostile to an enemy if it did not directly benefit the mission - and she had been told so many times before that she needed to try and not be so cold....yeah - her, not cold. The thought irritated her in itself - but she had to control her feelings. She could not let them rule her...not like she did. Calmly and just as cold as her previous gaze had been - but not enough to be rude she answered: "Sugar Moon Tea Roses. They're no charge today - you should get some." =The coldness was just enough to let it be known she was answering his question as a courtesy that was not owed, and that she wanted to answer his question as directly and straight to the point as possible and not only that but her addition at the end was politely spoken but anyone that could read between the lines could tell that she was curving him from her path and away from her as politely as possible. Then there came a moment that she heard Kasami calling to her. She wouldnt matter to that extent when she spoke - she would continue regardless walking and move to go around Kirinji, hoping for everyone sake that he wouldnt try and impose on her path again. Then the moment that she mentioned Tatsumi she stopped - jarringly so. It was short and quick and not much momentum behind the way she stopped but you could feel the nerve wretching tension rise in that moment as she did. There was something there. She started to turn to look back towards Kasami (if her path not be impeded) but stopped half way - looking at the side of the building that bridged the mouth of the alley way and seeing the directional sign pointing to the shrine down the park walkway in the alley. She then would turn her head back forwards - huffing out again another cold, discrete, and to the point: "No. Can't say that I have." =And with that being said she would have continued on moving her way down the path between the alley way. Had she not been interrupted then she would continue on, by this point the way that she looked - evident that she was making her way to the Temple shrine said to be in the area by this point. Meanwhile - Ko had caught up with them. His stride was more leisurely then the both of them. He wasn't looking tp have conversation by any means - Sharingan active he had his hands tucked away in his pockets as he seemed to be looking at the ground she had been walking upon - only closing the gap and arriving with everyone else the moment after she would have went off to make way further down the path. The flowershop keep looking between all of them - you could tell that he didnt have the foggiest idea of what was going on between the four of them - his head bolted back and forth mainly between Kirinji and Kasami; the man bewildered and trying to sort out this odd energy that had transpired between the grouping of the current.=

Kasami slowed down when she saw Kirinji in front of her with Ai. She didn’t approve of his methods at all, but at least she had stopped for the moment. Her expression was steady in its kindheartedness despite the disapproval, tucking her hands into the inside of her haori behind her back as she walked the rest of the way. She still asked about Tatsumi, and got the answer she had unfortunately expected still. Hope was never going to be something she gave up on though, not ever. Not even if she lay dying and her last breath is to hope someone can do what she had failed to.

She gave Ai an appreciative smile, a hint of sadness in her eyes at the news, but she had noticed something as well. Ai’s reaction when she asked about him- there was something there. She couldn’t tell exactly what it was; whether it’d been concern or just generally being surprised by the question, but she wanted to find out. Her gaze drifted toward the direction that she looked, taking note of the sign and taking the flowers into consideration. The flowers were free... a thoughtful hum came from her as she left Ai to walk around Kirinji and down into the alley. Rather than following her or trying to stop her, Kasami approached the flower shop herself and asked for some Sugar Moon Tea Roses as well.

It thankfully didn’t take too long, so she had time to still catch Ai at the shrine. She thanked the florist with a smile and took herself and the flowers down the alley toward the shrine as well. If Kirinji and Ko wanted to follow, they could, but she didn’t waste time explaining what was going on. She figured it was very obvious, flowers in hand going toward a shrine.

She walked at a brisk pace just to ensure she did in fact catch Ai before she left, and she walked up next to her and stood there for a moment observing her surroundings. When she spoke a few seconds later, her voice was soft. ”I’m not judging you, everyone has their reasons...” her voice trailed as she looked at Ai with a seriousness, but also sincerity, ”I can’t help but be curious as to yours. Why the New Burning Dawn?”

He didn’t expect much, but he didn’t expect a reaction this cold either. Though it does make sense why many describe her heart as cold as ice. Once he answered the question, he smiled at her and she stared back at him with that same expression. ”Thanks.” and slipped right past her before she could and went straight to the florist. ”How are you doing? I’d like a bouquet of the same flowers that woman got over there please.” He gestured with his bandaged right hand and pointed over his shoulder with his thumb at the Yuki.

Although he interacted with the florist, he still paid attention to what was going on near him. Listening to Kasami and Ai exchange a few words, but regardless who it was it was quick and to the point. Ai Yuki was not even remotely interested in them. Kirinji gently accepted the flowers from the florist with both hands and looked down at them as he held them close to his chest. ”How come they are free today?” Depending on how the florist answered, he may ask another question, but if he had no other questions he’d turn around to see why it had become quiet. He heard footsteps approaching him and he glanced over his shoulder to see Kasami getting the flowers as well. And then at Ai Yuki who had kept on walking. He waited there as Kasami got the flowers and quickly hurried behind Ai to catch up with her. Kirinji did the same.

As he followed behind Kasami, he found it odd the lack of interest in them when they had attacked them not too long ago. It was as if getting the bouquet of flowers were more important to her than us. We were irrelevant. For now. Perhaps the question Kasami had asked would shed some light about her nature.

=The girl approached. The moment that she put her hands inside her haori Ai's gaze became even more cold. She was as sharp as she was cold - and the moment that she obscured vision of her hands Ai considered the fact that she could be using a jutsu underneath. Ai considered the fact that she was a wood release user from the battle on the rooftop. Ai considered the fact, that she could make her have to kill them here on this street. The idea rolled over and over in her head maybe over twenty times in just the split second that this occured and as it did such her gaze and demeanor got even colder. She abhored killing - and she even more detested the fact that she was so good at it. Being put in a situation that she would have to display that only made her upset, just the thought. But then she came over speaking and then to get flowers - they both did. By that time she was already walking off relieved that she did not have to resort to violence. Though everything came at a price. What she did not have to sacrifice in comitting to violence she did however have to commit to her patience. The girl, Kasami spoke of not judging her. Would she even care if she was being judged? She asked herself the question in her thoughts almost rhetorically. She knew that she wouldnt - every shinobi had their reason for things and even if an enemy judged you for yours...it did not change what you had to do. Then she asked her why the Burning Dawn. That irked her a bit more then the previous. The fact that an outsider - was here asking her why as if questioning her vote for a political party or something. Perhaps thats not how she meant it but it was how she took it They were approaching the shrine now. In this time since it had honestly not been too far away Kirinji would have been finishing up and the shopkeep would have answered him: "Hm? Atheist or something huh? Its okay. Today is the ten year anniversary of Lord Kazumasa Sakurai's sacrifice. The food outside the casinos, flowers, even Inn-room stays for travelers is free for the next week. Lord Kazumasa fought for unity and the betterment of living conditions for all in Naraka. So Lord Izanagi madated a celebration every ten years that all may have food and shelter in his name - the flowers are so everyone can pay tribute to him as they wish. So here ya go buddy. Thank Kazumasa. And thank clan Sakurai.". The moment that he said this and handed over the flowers Ai and Kasami would be approaching. Ai was tempted to not even humor that question with an answer at all as well...but she figured that she was an outsider and didnt know the relation of things here. So she at least humored her with something: "No one side is going to be truthful about the other. Have you not humored "Why -not- the new burning dawn?" The medical field has toyed with us all so long. It garnishes more profit to suppress a disease. Shrink the cancer. Don't you think if Naraka had a tumor, it'd benefit it more to cut it straight out - rather than suppress it." =She answered sharply, obviously referencing the Mask Salesman as this bout of cancer or tumor. Her walk was brisk and calm at first - till she saw a figure up front of them knelt at the top of the stairs to Kazumasa's grave shrine. Her pace then quicked a bit - making way to go and meet the figure with green hood up over their head kneeling at the shrine. The figure was very evidently athletic and female, that much could be made out by the rounded hind-quarters that sat in the shorts that faced the approaching party. As Ai made it there she ascended the stairs with elegant and effortless grace; only to come to a stand next to the hooded person who was still in prayer there at the shrine. She stood there in silence until finally the hooded person spoke to her:

"Is that what you call it? You can't cut out a cancer with a dirty blade Ai."

8dca73837b5271007ce59e9dddc6a19d.jpg

=That being said Ai looked over at the woman as she said such. Her gaze was not only cold but somewhat absent. Like she was distancing her mind from other thoughts - maybe from the direct conversation herself as she looked at the flowers in her hand and then the woman again. She stepped forward and placed the flowers on the shrine then stepped back to her side but this time facing Kirinji and Kasami, though her gaze was still on the hooded woman. "At least when I remove this cancer. It will be with a blade that I own. Not one taken from the hands of another." = That stung. Even not knowing the context of the situation you could tell that it did, and the manner that Ai spoke it...was so abrupt - shocking even for one that didnt even know her. Of this entire moment including the moment back on the roof she was astoundingly cold and emotionless but right now? There was not just anger....but venom in the way that she spoke. Her and the woman exchanged a few brief words, more so the woman doing the talking - trying to convince Ai to "Come back to the Gate." the voice of the woman was gentle...stern at first but that subsided into a longing plead. But Ai simply closed her eyes and shook her head. Starting to walk off as the woman kneeling in prayer on the ground jolted aside - her hood coming off revealing a head of vibrant, beautiful pink hair that seemed almost unnaturally....natural in its radiance. Like a cherry blossom tree in pale moonlight. Ai stopped a moment and then cast her hand down to swat the woman's away from her coat tail. With that - she walked off, as she would walk straight passed Kirinji and Kasami and what was now the just catching up Ko. Hands in his pockets he would watch her as she first approached him and then passed him - the two of them looking directly at each other in locked gaze as she crossed his position and then was off back down the alley way. He would not pursue her at all. Instead he looked at the gathering of everyone here and started to compute exactly what may have happened to have cause the previously cold emotionless woman to now suddenly be showing signs of brazen fury. Ko was...oddly quiet - and calm. He seemed at lot more cerebral in the way that he composed himself ever since coming out of Tatsumi's healing jar, and in this moment now that was still all the more true. Even so far as to rub his chin a bit as he contemplated. On the other hand the pink haired woman was looking back tracing Ai's path with an expression of pain upon her features. Her wide mouth cast downwards in protest to her leaving and her eyes bright golden - pretty, delicate lashes batting over the glass balls that were her eyes. She inhaled deeply, almost as if to prevent from letting her emotions pour out even more as she turned her head and went back to what seemed to be prayer at the shrine. Speaking only a moment and in a mumble: "Dad....what do I do?"

”... it’d benefit it more to cut it straight out - rather than suppress it.”

These words struck Kasami hard, her steps faltering so much so that she stopped walking all together. Like she’d suddenly forgot what foot came next. It actually made a lot of sense, which bothered her immensely within seconds, and honestly in other situations she’d be inclined to agree. It wasn’t an answer she had prepared herself for, considering she had so vehemently despised the Burning Dawn’s methods before. This situation, with so many lives lost already in just one village, was not one of the cases she’d support it. However, it... definitely left her incredibly conflicted. Were there things she wasn’t taking into consideration with this? Was she the misinformed? Not being from Naraka, it could very likely be so- but then again... Kiyoshi crossed her mind, following Tatsumi, and at the thought she pursed her lips. She respected them, so it was hard to imagine these men as blind followers, but Ai’s words made her question it even if just for a moment.

Caught in a whirlwind of doubt, she’d nearly missed the interaction between Ai and the hooded figure at the shrine. The words of this other voice also resonated with her, and while Kasami may not know the exact context of which it was said- she did agree. The blade, so to speak or perhaps they meant literally, was dirty in her mind too. Nothing could justify the massacre of an entire village, and she was steadfast in believing that even if what Ai said was true and logical- Izanagi’s way was the better way. He protected Naraka from the beast, even if it meant suppressing it rather than dealing with the issue head on. For whatever reason, it was the only way. No one would choose to draw this out the way that it has been simply because they felt like it. At least she hoped.

Kasami’s expression shifted by the time Ai was walking past her. She cast a final glance at her, but it was an expression that was hard to read for inexperienced people. She barely even understood how she felt herself. It wasn’t menacing or mean spirited in any way, but it was full of tension. It was clear she had more she wanted to say, other questions she wanted to ask, but she didn’t bother. Ai kept walking and Kasami turned her gaze toward the woman with the pink hair. She recognized her from photos at Kiyoshi’s, though she didn’t know her name.

”I’ve seen you before. You’re in photos at Kiyoshi’s manor.”

Kirinji nervously chuckled and scratched the back of his head, his teeth showing as he made a face that resembled a bit of embarrassment. The reaction wasn’t because he was atheist, which he was, but instead it was because it was probably a dumb question to the florist and he couldn’t have known that Kirinji was a Naraka native. Fortunately the florist answered and he handed Kirinji the flowers. He looked down at the flowers taking in their beauty ”Lord Kazumasa, huh? I guess that does call for celebration and paying respect. Thank you for telling me and thank you for the flowers.”

And just as he had originally planned he caught back up with Ai and Kasami who were walking towards the temple. His reaction to Ai’s response was him — agreeing. It was a fair response and it prompted for him to gesture his head in agreement as his bottom lip came out. It did however make him think about everything that has happened. Here he is, fighting another war, with limited information. Who even knew if he was on the right side or if he had been given all the information. He glanced at the other two, Kasami and Ko, unlike them he had actually encountered Izanagi a few times. And he was always sly and ambiguous no matter the setting so he wouldn’t be surprised if Izanagi didn’t tell his soldiers fighting his war all the information. It sunk his heart a bit. Kirinji had planned on asking Izanagi when they got to him, but would he even tell him the truth. Would anyone here tell him the truth? He glanced at the back of Ai’s head and as he did he heard another voice.

Their interaction was … peculiar. It was clear they knew each other, but just from how they communicated with each other emitted an odd vibe. He observed the two communicated with each other, or rather the one sided conversation. Kirinji wasn’t able to make out who was under the hood until she jolted aside and as her hood came off Kirinji’s eye narrowed onto her head, recognizing her from one of the picture at Kiyoshi’s house. His mind flashed back to the odd mannerism of the shopkeeper telling him about the head of soft pink hair who was supposed to be their best bet. Was this her? Ai walked past them and Kirinji’s eye followed her as she walked past Ko.

”You’re right. No one is going to be truthful about the other. And it is better to cut out the cancer than allow for it to manifest and fester. But have you all humored whether or not it is even possible to cut the cancer out. Not all are capable of being cut out, especially those that have been deeply integrated.”

He stared at the back of her head as he spoke (eyes if she turned around) and near the end he turned back toward the pink haired woman.

"...Hm. You sound like him. Izanagi. I suppose as individuals with different perspectives we will have to find out. Two sides can only fight for what they believe and understand no one else is going to make their ambitions happen for them. I just pray that concourse doesnt lead to a path of conflict between our groups again. But I suppose that would be naive to expect."

=And with that she continued on about her way disappearing around the corner of the building. Should someone peek around that corner they would find that Ai would have disappeared - not even so much as the image of her continuing along, it would be like she just disappeared into thin air. But none the less she had lead the group to a new face among them by this point. Sakuya. The moment that Ai had walked away she grit her teeth as she had been seemingly talking to the shrine again. It was adorned with a cluser of bright roses that seemed to illuminate the area of the shrine in the way that the roses reflected the light off their petals and when Kasami made mention of Kiyoshi - Sakuya turned her head in an inquisitive manner. She stood up straight and brushed off her shorts before turning around fully towards the group. Her jacket open revealing chiseled abs, an athletic frame and lazily fastened drawstrings. She seemed to be taken a'back a bit. Like she was coming out of an emotional daze as she very visibly was getting her barings back - looking between Ko, then Kirinji, then Kasami - lingering a bit more on Kasami and the way that her eye was wrapped. Her wide mouth and colorful demeanor made her face even more expressive then it maybe was: "So. You've been to Kiyoshi's manor huh? I'd say that doesnt mean too much but he doesnt party like he used to since this war started. You must be the new faces in Naraka then. And if you're here...then that must mean my gut was right. Something happened, and now you all need to see Izanagi." =The moment that she said this it was evident that she was somewhat overwhelmed. She started tapping the side of her head with her right hand over and over as if calling her brain to attention on something. As she cleared the steps on her way down the shrine could be seen in full view. All the flowers and a particular scroll sitting there at the shrine as she walked away from it and stopped just before everyone. Her eyes went to the back of the group at Ko: "You're the one with the tendency for breaking other peoples things. Look different from what I heard but still close enough. Jinsei didnt appreciate that strike to the head. You're gonna have to keep a better lid on that here then you did there. Kagetsuchi has...something of a law. And by law I mean a convenient little fuck-list of what the underground syndicates are gonna tax you for and what they wont. Biggest thing you should know - if you get caught in violence out on the streets, you get arrested for it. Have to serve the sentence for any violent crimes on the casino arena floors. Yeah, we make entertainment out of criminals here. So be careful. You dont want a big enough offense that you get tossed to Genichiro. You want to see Izanagi - so inevitably, you want Genichiro's attention...but trust me, you dont want THAT kind of attention. Walk with me. I'm Sakuya by the way. Everyone just calls me Kuya - call me whatever." She smiled wide and warmly at the comment and walked off with a bit of bounce in her step away from the shrine...but it was a packed walk in itself - like she was resisting so evidently and conspicuously running from the shrine. There was something there she wanted to get past - perhaps it was the interaction just now with Ai, maybe more. As she had said walk with her she started walking down the alley the same direction that Ai had come here to the point that she would be approaching a path directly towards the flower shop and the main road. Ko was standing there for a moment when she brought it up thinking about who this Jinsei person was. He pulled his finger in to the inside the collar of his shirt and repeated the name, tasting it on his lips like he was trying to pick up a familiarity in the after taste only to find his pallet bland - tainted with the flavors of everything else that had happened up till this point till finally his red bush of wildfire hair jumped as his head bounced in realization. His head flashed back to the sickening crack of impact he had struck across the head of team 3's original guide, then it all came back to him - they had been moving so much that he didnt even realize it at first. They had been missing a member. He was so dumbfounded by the fact that he didnt remember at this point that he almost just stood there in a stupor as she (and everyone else had they moved in flow with her) had walked along her way. He thought to say something but in his head he didnt want to cause alarm....certainly they would have figured that he still remembered the missing Sentou and not that his memory had suffered so. An effect of Tatsumi's healing jar? He cuffed himself up and followed suit - not really saying much but cringing at the thought that he had killed this guy she spoke of and now he had to think about when it was going to come to pass as time for confrontation about that. Had no other actions nor questions had been given they would be on a casual walk back to the road - leaving this their last opportunity to make offering at the shrine=

Kasami’s expression darkened at the mention of something happening, shifting in discomfort on her feet as she crossed her arms and gripped her elbows. Her gaze drifted away from everyone toward nothing of relevance, keeping her thoughts on track from veering toward what the Burning Dawn had done to Kagane. She was still paying attention to everything else that followed, but her main focus had turned to the first thing that she saw when she turned her head. The usual distraction followed. The blade of grass turned to thinking of other things, one by one, and always consciously avoiding any thought or word that could diverge to Kagane without directly facing the subject. A blade of grass, a field, flowers, the Forest of Death, the bamboo forest, cranes, her mother, and her thoughts finally moved from Naraka entirely on to Konoha. Her favorite pastime, the tea shop, and the lake that she loved visiting. Her shoulders relaxed after the pink haired woman had finished speaking, and with a blink to clear her eyes from the shakiness that staring at the same thing had caused, she finally looked back toward the shrine.

All the while she heard and, not consciously, processed the words Sakuya was saying. Jinsei- she felt guilty for forgetting about him. Kasami did care about that, but it had already been done, and her concern following that was how Kiyoshi would react toward Ko rather than what had happened. The law of Kagetsuchi, the name of this village, and about Genichiro. This didn’t seem like her type of place to be. Making sport of criminals was... something she had mixed feelings about. Depending on the level of crime, she didn’t feel that there was any harm done to that. On the off hand, they were people too, and if they hadn’t done anything severely wrong she hoped that wouldn’t put them in an arena to be used as entertainment.

Sakuya invited them to walk with her, but with flowers in hand Kasami made her way up the stairs to place them on the shrine. She hadn’t intended to take longer than a second, to kneel and give a small prayer and blessing, but as she started to kneel her attention was snagged by something else. A scroll was sitting among the offerings, old yet well kept in its condition. She remembered the scroll that Kirinji had when she met with him in the village, and remembered that he said it felt incomplete. It was definitely a stretch, but maybe this could be useful even if it wasn’t what he needed. She looked over her shoulder at him, nodding toward the shrine though he was surely already approaching as he’d gotten flowers as well. If he wasn’t approaching and he was still standing at the bottom of the steps or starting to leave with Sakuya, she’d clear her throat. ”Don’t forget your offering.” The insistence in her voice was subtle. If he left anyway or didn’t hear her, she’d just huff and pick the scroll up herself, bowing to the shrine with a small apology under her breath before following them. It was bad karma and bad practice to take offerings off someone’s shrine, but if it was important to their mission then she would do it. She’d still try to get Kirinji to do it himself before she had to though, just not wanting that juju on her person.

”I suppose so.”

There was a taint of sadness in his voice, one that would only be apparent to someone who has been a shinobi for more than one lifetime. Constant conflict grows to become tiresome. As a child there was excitement when thinking about their future as a Shinobi, but excitement leaves quickly when becoming witness to the murderous lifestyle and sorrow fills that void—rudely overstaying. He could tell from her mannerism and choice of words she’d agree with him in some capacity. His chakra mode switched to sensory, scoping out the immediate vicinity and even a bit further to make sure that Ai had truly left and that they were clear of traps.

If he felt nothing, his eyes would focus on the pink haired woman now as she glanced between each of them, nodding ’yes’ when she stated that they needed to see Izanagi. Kirinji’s eyes followed the woman’s as they fixed themselves upon Ko and he only listened to what she had to say. He was partially confused—who was Jinsei? But that thought rapidly overtaken the more she spoke. ”Genichiro..”, a ghost who calls the shots and indulges in criminal activity—the Pitt Master, as the shopkeeper described it, was who they were looking for. And the pink haired woman, Sakuya, was here as he had said. It seemed the exchange for the information was well worth it.

Before he decided to walk with Sakuya he’d make sure to pay his respects to Kazumasa. He noticed had gone up and he followed behind her noticing she was looking at him, but more importantly signaling at him. His facial reaction was equivalent to that of someone saying ”Hm”. He moved a bit to the right so he could get a better look and was surprised to see a scroll similar to the one he had bought. His first reaction was to look around to make sure no one was looking—as you don’t typically take from a shrine. Quickly he scoped out the immediate area and then locked eyes with her nodding yes.

He’d kneel down beside her and put the flowers over the scroll and then swiftly sneak the scroll from under and into his pocket for a later time. He’d get up with Kasami at the same time and they’d bow, but he’d also apologize under his breath. Kirinji looked over his shoulder and caught up to Sakuya. If no one talked he’d speak up and try to make conversation.

”So, Lord Kazumasa is your father? You must feel proud.”

=You would think by now that it wouldnt hurt so much. The fact that it did somewhat bothered the woman. She was trained to control her emotions - her and Ai both were but as it was very easy to tell...Ai was better than the two of them at it...she always had been even before becoming a Sanzou. For a moment a mix of emotions flared at the idea of being asked this by an outsider - but at that point all she could do was huff, and let all of that air escape her in one overinflated chuckle as she shook her head at herself. It was something that she had to process, not the fact that he died but the fact of what happened when he died, what happened supposedly in his name, and everyone's particular form of mourning that they chose to indulge in.=

"Proud, yeah I guess thats one word for it. Still was my dad. Was Ai's too. She was selected from Fujimori clan to be Sanzou - we took her in. Before everything with the clans. You'd think that a daughter would come home to roost in the wake of her father's death...guess thats just too normal for us."

=As she said this you could tell that there was a particular bit of sarcasm there, and it wasn't aimed at the conversation in the moment but more so aimed at Ai herself - almost as if hoping that she was around to hear it, but she wasn't. Typically thats how Ai worked never there when you want her to hear it but always somehow catching wind when you dont. She always hated that. When he died she was left alone to pick up the pieces - as one would expect from someone holding the title of "Princess." of the Sakurai clan. She didnt care for the offerings - or if anything was taken from the shrine, she could honestly care less for how her father was remembered. . . he was her dad. She wanted her dad back - period, so she could care less. Anything she said or showed otherwise was just a ruse she put on for politics so that her image as Sakurai clan's head wouldnt be tarnished. She'd let them conduct any business that need be and while they did Ko stood off to the side pinching the bridge of his nose, then finally - with a light snap of his fingers he pointed her way:

07167a41f99f3b6c939f7e8299afd3dd.png

"If I had known he was a friend I would have never enaged as I did. Thats on me - but you've got to know. Kasami suddenly going missing. Popping up in a strange land with foreign shinobi. Not the best of looks. Thats got to be a reasonable understanding huh?"

=During the moment Sakuya looked at him with her arms folded over her body. Her expression was flat at first but after he had said such she cracked a smile and laughed a bit - commented back that she wasn't sure, he'd just have to ask Jinsei. To this Ko raised his brow, looking around even scanning some of the few Sanzou grave tags that were in few places around the shrine garden. Was he...here? Did she mean in spirit? He wasn't sure what she meant - lingering behind in confusion as she and the rest of the group started to move along at this point. By the time she would have made it out towards the road that the flower shop had been in - the owner would have bowed his head to her as she appeared and with that she'd grunt in annoyance and put her hood back over her head. She didnt really like the way that everyone that saw her pink head of hair bowed and worshipped her feet as she made an appearance - this is why she typically wore hoodies and very modest clothing that was unbecoming of a priestess. You could say that Sakuya was the relentlessly rebellious type. As she stood there in the road she started to turn and make her way towards the gate to Central Kagetsuchi when she started to converse with the group:

"So - here's the run down as things stand. You need to see Izanagi, and that requires you to go to Tokiwarai. Bad thing about that - is its under a military lock down per the moment. Only elected officials, military VIP, members of Kaisei, and Izanagi's personally approved get through. Now I know what you're thinking. We need to see him and this is to Izanagi's benefit - why doesnt he just approve us? Not that simple. Things in Tokiwarai are complicated as far as I can tell. Even im not allowed there right now, just have to trust the system I suppose. So here's how it works. If you can get to see Genichiro - and gain his approval, you can become approved since Genichiro is an extension of Izanagi. Thing about that is - I know, just keeps getting better right? He's hard as hell to get an audience with. Yeah, who'd have figured it'd be difficult right? Now - how do you go about getting an audience with such a hard to reach person welllllll, by doing the exact opposite of what you would think you need to. And thats - doing something pretty underhanded or causing a mass amount of trouble. That - or you can knock off enough of the black market fences around Central and Western Kagetsuchi to get his personal attention - he wont like it if you're playing in his money. And the last option. You could make him an offering. Wouldn't advise it. At least not if you want your sanity or sanctity to stay intact. He takes all kinds of offering. Unique physical traits, money, secret techniques, established fighters in the pitts, even brides to be - and by brides I mean..**she halted. She remembered how her father did not approve of her using that word**, well - you probably can figure what I mean. Either way - theres only two sides of the coin. You either get your hands dirty, or you keep your hands so clean that it offends the dirty hands around the table. Personally? I'm not going to tell you which way you should do it. Unfortunately for you - I'm unable to capitalize on any of those ways. Me being as well known as I'am - there would be a political debacle of I were to do any of this. But what I can do , is work with you the best way that I can to help prepare you for whatever route it is you choose to go. The choice is all yours."

=As she said this she came to stand by the gate to central, by now they were around a good few people, the numbers of those that were inside central were literally bustling at the seams - all the people that were here around the gate being people that were in central, but needed to step outside the gates to less hectic places to get a breather and escape the hectic hustle and bustle of the casino roads. Sakuya was getting looks, and not looks that were becoming or apparent that someone knew she was a priestess, causing her to shyly pull her jacket over her framed abs to hide them a bit as well as over her bust. Ko by this point was confused about the word that she couldnt say when describing "wives", he didnt quite understand what she meant but in the moment that she saw the eyes on her - he traced her gaze to a group of three guys very evidently drunk standing by the gate whispering between each other, and then back in time to see her covering herself. He blinked - and then suddenly he raised and lowered his head with his lips in position to give a silent: "Ooooohhhhhh" as the answer to his question populated in place promptly. That being said he moved around by this point to stand on the opposite side of Kasami, away from Sakuya - but between her and that group of guys, blocking their view with a slow sigh.=

Kasami was walking with them all quietly after they left the shrine, observing some things that made her curious. Things Sakuya said made her even more so. She brought up Sanzou which intrigued her the most, but she also noticed the way the flower shop person bowed to her and her reaction to it. As she pulled up her hood to hide again beneath it, she wondered who exactly Sakuya was to receive such respectful recognition. It wasn’t a time for questions though. They were so close to getting to Izanagi that she didn’t want to hold them up with questions. There would likely be a time after that they could ask her any questions that they had.

Ko’s reasoning for taking out Jinsei was good enough for her, but she also knew it wouldn’t be a perfect one for Kiyoshi. People would still have their feelings even if the reason for it was a good one. Grief or the loss of property, something or someone important, couldn’t be washed away with reason. She looked around herself when she mentioned to ask him, wondering what she’d meant by that as well just like Ko did. Did Kiyoshi have another model like him? Was it active already, or had it already been? So many questions circulated through her mind in the past week, more than in her lifetime, and she only had answers to a few.

When they got to the gate, she listened quietly to Sakuya talking with a small smile. This woman was actually enjoyable to be around, just like Kiyoshi she realized after she’d finished. The long shpeal had gone by like a breeze, because it had been easy to listen to. They had a lot of options to consider, the first of which seeming to be one of the best. As she stood there in thought she crossed her arms over her chest and bit on her thumb nail, though didn’t actually chew on it or bite through. It was more of a grounding thing for her to keep her mind on one thing. Even while thinking though, she couldn’t help but notice the way Sakuya was covering up and looked uncomfortable. She looked around herself to find the same group of men that Ko noticed too, and when he came to her side to block their view of her before they took note of her, she couldn’t help but feel something in her chest. She offered him an appreciative smile, but returned her focus back to it before she got inappropriate. And then she got an idea. She laughed musically, closing up her haori absentmindedly. ”So Kirinji, what do you say to sneaking in as a woman offering herself to Genichiro?” She was half joking, but it would definitely get them in the doors. She did know one thing. Whatever their plan would be- she just hoped it wouldn’t put them in the pits.

He was surprised to hear that—that Lord Kazumasa was Ai’s father as well, making Sakuya and Ai sisters. Kirinji found this hard to believe from the very visible look of confusion on his face. It was another time he had heard of those people, the Sanzou, yet he knew only limited information about them. Of course he had more questions, especially since it seemed that their path was intertwined with theirs—the relics, the temples, and even the Bladed Thesis scroll. Of course he had more questions but felt that it was not a right time to go probing for answers. Perhaps another time, but for the time being he sunk into the back of the group and reached into his pocket pulling out the scroll from the shrine.

”The Tengu - they danced with me today. Of my brothers they chose me, and took me off to their mountain top. Their dance, it was delicate, beautiful....and utterly dangerous. Their dance rend my flesh, disintegrated my bones and charred my mind...and as I screamed they felt my pain too. They were using Ninshu that I'd never seen before - as it was meant to be used. To connect one self with the world and those around them, no pain that they inflicted on me did they not inflict upon themselves too...but they did not scream as I did. Instead they rejoiced. They told me that in order to be one with them I must learn about...Hadou....that there were three different kinds. One of the Hadou - begate the philosophy that all things must suffer, and only by suffering do we grow stronger - only by suffering can we see the pure beauty in it, and appreciate the beauty of a world without it; perhaps this dance....this unity....is this the Hadou of cruelty? Or is this compassion, I think I know but every moment that my flesh is cast to the winds and skin and bone start to blur between the lines....so too does my grasp of the concept. But they seem not to be tiring. The more I suff-....the more we suffered. The more rejuvenated they became. This Hadou...it seems to come from a mixture...a harmony. Chakra....raw emotional energy, and. . . something else. Harmony. There is so much of it since they took me. The Tengu - they walk together. Eat together. They dance together, suffer together - harmony....perhaps that is what I must focus my studies to…”

Chills went down his spine as he read that line—“One of the Hadou begate the philosophy … is the Hadou of Cruelty? Or is this passion?” The writing was immaculate, but more importantly it was a moment similar to that of when they were going back and forth with Ai and her spiel about it being better for the cancer to be removed rather than allowed to be festered. He rolled the scroll once he was done with even more questions than before. And no answers. For now. Sakuya began speaking about what they needed to do going forward and he listened closely to what she had to say. He glanced over at the men in sync with everyone—getting the picture. The options were laid out before them and he didn’t have an answer right away. Instead internally thinking and aiming to weigh the pros and cons, which was a challenging task with unknown variables. Information, as always, remains vital. The more the merrier.

Kasami was the first one to speak up and while he reacted by jerking his head back slightly and staring at her confused, it wasn’t a bad idea. They could make it work by using a transformation jutsu and disguising as a beautiful woman, it’d hopefully get them through the door and his attention no doubt. He cocked his head and his eyes looked up to the sky as he licked the inside of his top teeth. He was thinking. ”You know—that isn’t a bad idea.” You could tell he was serious by his tone, ”Hmm, yeah. Yeah, I think we can make that work. What do you think?” He'd look over at Sakuya for her opinion as she knew more about the people here than they did.

_During the moment when the joked passed in which Kasami was opting that maybe Kirinji should go into the casino and offer himself as tribute via sexy jutsu Sakuya was laughing boisterously - a very goofy and hearty laugh, she was the type that could laugh like this and it simply became contagious because you could tell that it was coming from such a genuine place of origin. But then there came the moment in which Kirinji commented about that being a good idea - and suddenly the fact that this was all a joke subsided, and with it? Sakuya’s laughter , as her snorting laughter halted into a yelp of a cut off as she realized that they were actually considering that. When asked about her thoughts on the matter of the plan she raised a brow and started to look the man over - seeming very evidently to take great detail and concentration - obvious that she was really going all in on trying to envision it. It took a moment but she snorted and flicked her thumb off the tip of her nose only to point at Kirinji with a snappy finger gun of a motion and comment: ”My thoughts on the matter? Heh well if you had to ask me I would say - you’re gonna have to work on a cuter walk then you’ve got now. Aside of that - yeah I can see that working. Totes.” =She had said as her wide mouth carved her features with a smile as she looked between them with a smile of reassurance. It was perhaps the best course of action between it all. Staying out on the streets hitting all the fences and supply chains and contacts? Probably best not to go in on such a hostile note at the time - but there was something more there too. Sakuya seemed to be heavy in thought sas she reflected upon the words and time that she last butted heads with Genichiro. His words from that memorable moment echoed in her head:

”Come on now boy...I didn’t kill...tsk - everyone. Heh, make that sacrifice for those that are still alive.

Think about what happened…
...Think about what didnt happen…
...Think about what can still happen…

=Her mind shifted back to that night that she had the displeasure of witnessing exactly how itw as that Master Of The Pitts distributed his personal brand of justice to the masses. She never approved of it - not only did it go against the way that the Sanzou had taught them to be but it also went against her own personal code with people. She interjected as she looked over her shoulder at the gates - ready to push them open and create an inconspicuous gap in the gate for them to transition through, but she did feel the need to warn them. ”So we’re clear. This is an entirely different issue. Genichiro? He’s probably the strongest person you have come across in your journey thus far - even stronger then Kiyoshi, and on top of that he’s probably the most brutal and by far the most underhanded. People go into that casino and lose their souls. They dont come out the same person that they were. Be very careful when you do this. Getting in there is one thing - but the objective isn’t just to get there. Its to get in, get Genichiro’s blessing and move on to the next village. So once you’re in and cat’s out the bag - you’ll have to figure it out from there. And trust me...he’ll find out at one point or another. Genichiro is a master of covert and underhanded tactics. Eventually, he sees everything. Buuuut on a lighter note. You wanna jutsu up your outfit? Or shall we stop and get you a dress - something to match your eyes maybe?” =As she said that she popped her hips sassily and pulled open the gate with a smirk. She was gesting towards the back end of the village when she mentioned the dress. For a moment there as she was mentioning Genichiro it could be said that there was something uneasy about the way that she talked about him in that moment, It was like PTSD maybe? No one could tell. In either case, the moment that she opened the gap in the fenceline the sound of bustling people and partiers alike all came rushing through the gates to take up the space in everyone’s ears. And Sakuya would stand there with her hands in her pockets awaiting a final decision moving forward.=

He chuckled nervously when Sakuya busted out laughing—thinking that it was a joke but he stopped chuckling before she finished as a signal he was serious. Kirinji was that type of person. If you jokingly say something he may just end up doing it for the shits and giggles and at the risk of looking like an idiot. When Sakuya voiced her thoughts Kirinji scoffed in excitement and looked over at Ko and Kasami,

”Heh. Well if that’s the case I suggest you two turn into something that I can carry on me. Jewellery, flowers—whatever.”

Kirinji listened intently, heading the woman’s warning about the man behind all the strings. Genichiro. The Pit Master and someone whose blessing they required. Although she did have a point. Getting in was one thing, but what was the plan when they got in. As for now he had no idea. Kirinji glanced at the other two briefly while she spoke and near the end he even scoffed about the mention of a dress to match his eyes. She was kind. And helpful. Even someone who had a humorful side, something he hasn't encountered much.

As that thought processed through his head he closed his eyes and breathed in deeply. His hands began to rise up toward the center of his chest as he held a singular hand seal close to his body. His eyes were still closed, but you could see his eyelids flickering as if he were in thought. Kirinji was focusing on who to transform into—it had to be someone beautiful and eye catching to catch Genichiro’s attention. And the transformation had to be perfect or else he’d see right through the bootleg impersonation.

His mind began forming a checklist of what he wanted the appearance to be. White, long beautiful hair. Heterochromia eyes—one sapphire blue like our friend and one an emerald green. Perhaps even a scar to add a mystique and a story. A slim figure of course, curvy to be exact, and pale skin. He exhaled deeply, but he was still in thought. He thought of the clothing and the first thing that came to mind were white robes like attire with a black and lavender clothing. Heh. He thought to himself as his thought zoomed out of the canvas as he recognized who he had pictured as synonymous with beautiful, all which had occurred in a few seconds. Kirinji opened his eyes and a cloud of smoke emerged from his hands and covered his entire body.

01edc98260f48ccef23c95f37886e6f8.png

The smoke dispersed and the image he had in mind came to fruition. Unknown to any of them, Kirinji knew whose appearance this was. It was why it looked near perfection for he knew the original well. Each perfection, each imperfection—even the minutest of details such as the size and width of the scar were present. Kirinji had thought of his wife—Hitoko Ōkami Uchiha. Kirinji glanced over at the three as he adjusted his posture to match that of Hitoko’s along with the voice.

”So, what do you think?”
