This place was exceptional, especially to Haia. The arena was used for several chunin exams by the Land of Fire. A place several legends were made and many more losers were erased, ignored, and lost their paths as ninjas. Here within this legendary arena, one-day Haia would not only show the greatness of her mother's clan the Kyodaigumo clan, and once more show the strength and ability of the Hyuga clan. As she stood there staring at the grandness of the arena and thinking of how she would become the main star of the chunin exams for her year of genin.

Haia smirked widely as she looked at the stands imagining her mother and father sitting up there watching her as her brothers were unable to make it after coming across Haia's squad and being eliminated by them showing herself as the best heir and the strongest amongst the children even though she was the youngest. Right now she decided to use this place with the approval of the Hokage and her father as training grounds to practice and expand upon not only her gentle fist but also her other techniques. It was a great place away from the prying eyes of her siblings where only she would know her own growth until it was time for her to strike. Like a spider weaving a web to trap a stupid fly.

He was up-...no upset did not quite encompass what it was that he was feeling at the moment. While she was standing there looking into the stands daydreaming about matters that were yet to even come to fruition he was standing here examining her...pulled into this waste of time by a favor owed of him by the Hokage....typical - always squandering what could be useful opportunity. Truth be told it may have been the best day for it anyhow , he took what wins in the matter that he could. It was his leisure day - hence, he was not wearing his typical attire but just a casual haori that he dawned most of the time that he was around the Hyuga clan compound. The rather physically imposing man before her was known as Hayato Hyuga, however in the days to come he would soon dawn the moniker Oshirama Hiragana. He'd been sent here by a friend to come and test the girl's ability...cruel in his opinion that they would send him of all people, but whats done is done and what comes of it is not his problem...the debt was paid.
Standing there arms folded he had appeared within the arena unbeknownst regardless of her byakugan - while his own scrutinize her features, his stare unwavering and his expression unamused he upturned his lip and scoffed, distancing from his own disgust looking off to the side before he looked back pushing his long mane of hair from his face; a gnarly scar crossed - one vertical straight down his left eye and the other intersecting it from across his forehead: "Think not of what has yet to happen and concern yourself with what can happen to you now. You take for granted you will walk out of this fully intact. Physically that may be true. But mortal wounds can be inflicted in both the flesh and the mind - and if you aren't prepared for what reality has in store for you, you'll find yourself leagues away from any meaningful participation in this arena. Lets be on with this, and do not shame your clan." the man stood with arms folded after saying this, massive bicep though concealed by the haori still imposing through the contours of the cloth. He simply awaited the girl with hands folded as they were and his legs shoulder width apart, and although he was in no obvious combat stance - the man's physical stature hulking in at such a massive six foot, three inches of pure muscle was enough to make one believe they could hurt themselves just running into him the wrong way. The woman should be on alert, everyone in the clan knew of Hayato and his endeavors. His contributions and victories claimed in the name of the Hyuga clan and the village were reknown and respected even by their enemies...and yet the visual representation of his chakra inside and out was miniscule...as if something covering it and against its will unable to contain the feint bleed that shed outwards.

The sound of a deep voice she had not heard before entering her ears was startling to say the least. Haia immediately activated her Byakugan spinning around swiftly to face the person who spoke to her so rudely. She was rather insulted being told she may not make it from here today and her sight of the future was one that may not come true, no not just insulted she was irritated. Haia's irritation would turn into sudden dismay as she looked at the image of the person speaking to her with her Byakugan, she could not believe what she was seeing. No more than that, Haia could not believe this was not a genjutsu. Her chakra pathways were fine, she could not sense any abnormalities within herself or with the area.

This caused her to stumble back a bit as she looked at the man and took up what looked like a defensive stance, the basic stance for the gentle fist but anyone examining closely could see the young girl trembling a bit. Why was Haia, someone very proud, calculative, and sadistic now acting timid and afraid? Simple, the person who was standing away from her was none other than a living legend within the Hyuga clan and Konohagakure as a whole. This was Hayato Hyuga, a man famed for not just his strength but his abilities, skills, and absolute ability. Haia was taught about the various Hyuga throughout history and their accomplishments by her father and among them Hayato was at the top. His feats seemed more like fairy tales to Haia than facts but seeing him standing before her now cause her to doubt to become fearful.

She was facing a man who held off an entire battalion of Kumo nin, knocked an air carry out of the sky with a single palm strike, and was able to parry a blow from a Raikage. These feats were greater than some of the actual Hokage and beyond that, his strength showed a depth of power that Haia and many could never hope to fathom or even approach. She took her stance while thinking deeply about the best course of action while this man seemed to scrutinize her with his gaze. She could see the depth of his Byakugan as if he could reveal everything about her with his gaze. It was terrifying as this was something far above her father, the Hyuga lord and the strongest Byakugan user she knew.

What was she to do to avoid being wiped away by this man? As she thought this an idea popped into her head and the man noticed the chakra churning within the pit of her... Stomach? An organ near where the stomach sat was holding a large amount of chakra within it before her mouth would open wide towards the man launching a cloud of dark blue from her. The cloud could obscure the vision of even her father, thus she hoped it would obscure the vision of this man giving her a chance to escape or strike. She would think cautiously as this cloud was not only meant to disorient the man but had hidden intentions behind its release. These hidden intentions would be revealed as time went on if she survived or if the man did not fall to Haia first who began to move silently in the cloud that was made of her own chakra thus masking her chakra presence and covering her sent. Her footsteps began softening to the ax extent that she could possibly do to avoid tipping off the man who might hear from which direction she was moving.

The man was not in the slightest amused, and if that had not been evident enough from the start then it would most certainly become apparent so by the reaction that would occur in hs facial expression, in regards to her own facial expression. One of the most renown things about Hayato was the fact that he was possibly one of the most strict mentors that you could come across. He had a penchant for snuffing out weakness in every way that it manifested and with just such a penchant there came the ability to identify any signs of it in a moments notice. Upon her expression, her body language, her very posture he could detect weakness, all throughout her being and he knew that it was not simply from what was said no...it was from realizing who her opponent was: "Is that as far as your resolve goes? You have lost already. Such a grand venue, grand aspirations? Grand perception of ones own self and dreams - everything about you was grand when you were in control, now here we stand and nothing else can claim to be so except your grand failure." she was perfectly fine when she thought that her opponent would be someone normal..but then he appeared and all of that washed away...but that was not the way that life treated us. It did not always give you the battles that you knew you could win. It did not always place in front of you the list or curated opponents that were just right for you to triumph over to hand you the participation trophy to greatness. The cost was great, to walk amongst the stars. And the suns caress can be conflagrant and unforgiving. Her resolve faltered in the face of a superior opponent and he could see that in her eyes, a sigh upon his lips as he slipped a hand in his pocket he shook his head: "Have your dreams changed, simply because of the opponent that stands before you? If your dreams fall so easily, how could you not?" then the cloud was being dispersed before her and towards himself - plooming out to fill the void between the two and subsequently block the view of the both of them as it were. A change in his body's chakra signature occurred, and what was once a faint flickering indication of light was now a glow stick in a dark hall radiant and bold. Her plan would seem to be working as he stood still within the cloud she released; the sound of their footsteps as she so carefully tip toe around the vicinity of the man that seemed to no even be paying her time of day from within the cloud - steady and motionless. Was it simply curiosity? Was her plan being allowed to play out? Who knew as she scrutinized the only symbolism of life that there were to behold; it would seem that at this point both of them were deciding just what to do with the position that they had been given in this moment.

Haia was surprised by the man standing before her, although the dense dark blue cloud could obscure and disorient the vision of anyone even those with Dojutsu. She knew very well that this man, Hayato Hyuga, was different. He was stronger than her father, stronger than the current Hokage, maybe even stronger than any Hokage. She had to be more precise than ever with her strikes against this man, although he could not see her, she could see him and this was her advantage. As she noticed this man standing there seemingly observing her or the situation, but whatever the case was this meant Haia could take the first strike against Hayato and hopefully deal damage.

She had fought against opponents stronger than herself before especially on missions, but most of the time she was underestimated. Most opponents know of the Hyuga clan but very few know of the Kyodaigumo clan and even fewer know of its devastating kekkei genkai. Haia gained both clans kekkei genkai which made her a terror though the Kyodaigumo clan kekkei genkai was much less developed than her Hyuga side. So far, only knowing about an extra organ within her body produces a strong poison that disrupts chakra ways and causes irreversible damage to chakra points. Using this poison Haia would allow it to seep through the pores of her palms coating them together with a small amount of chakra. As such when Haia went in for a strike from the right side. She would swiftly strike at the man's right arm as a trigram appeared upon the floor beneath them.

As the trigram appeared Haia came in quickly with two swift finger strikes aimed at the chakra points in Hayato's right arm followed up by 14 more strikes around the arm to attempt to disable it. If these strikes were to land most people would be unable to use chakra at all from the affected area and from the poison which would seep into their chakra pathway and spread throughout causing it to decay away crippling them permanently. The spreading of the poison would happen within less than an hour thanks to the guidance of the Byakugan and the usage of the gentle fist style. Haia gained a reputation from this combo and she dubbed her new taijutsu style, the gentle venom fist. Using this technique she would cripple Hayato disabling him and making him fall before her or so she hoped but so far he seemed less like a small hill to conquer and more like a mountain that would require great lengths to even climb partially. She hoped that this attempt to strike him would be a great first step towards not only climbing the mountain but reaching a peak higher than she could see when facing the mountain top. She would show everyone that she had greatness within her and she saw Hayato as a stepping stone towards this, a terrifying one but a stepping stone none the less.

The kunoichi paced and stalked her target outside of the smoke cloud that she had created. All the more as she did such she would look for a moment to strike when suddenly, he time would come. Leaping into action she would find that suddenly...she was halted - met with a firm, strong hand on her shoulder just at the point that it would connect between shoulder and neck and entirely, shut down her forward momentum towards her target in that instance. Had she looked at what caused this she would find that there behind her would be none other...than Hayato Hyuga. The man looked down at her ith an expression that as utterly devoid of any emotion or surprise as he inquired as to her newly found position of extreme disadvantage:
"Whats wrong? Lives flashing before your eyes?"
He said as he would keep her held there with a grip that would squeeze down with enough force that it would nearly crush the tendon and ligament there bridging her shoulder and neck had she not moved somehow. The man was a proponent of the idea that nothing was impossible, simply yet to be proven misproven and he exemplified it in the way that he accomplished the impossible any time that he stepped onto the battlefield. In this case it was something that he had done many times before, not new to him at all. Fooling the perception of doujutsu, especially the Byakugan in such ways that made the eye seem like a trite detriment rather than any kind of combat advantage at all. His hand grew hotter...alarmingly so to the point that it would even begin to burn to the contact of the skin before growing more and more hot in itself - to an unbearable degree...and he'd see to it that she stay within that grasp had she not avoided it to begin. She'd need to...in order to witness it. He would be set with a decision...as he was always afforded such on the battlefield as it were. The figure that she had been observing in the smog would begin to step forward and soon emerging from the cloud would be a radiant silhouette or light...almost holy in the way that it peeled apart from the darkness of the smoke itself. The silhouette emerged from the cloud with such a violent energy about it that it vibrated and caused atmospheric distortions in the air from how it caused a burn simply moving forward. This silhouette was none other than a solar clone, comprised entirely of Hayato's solar chakra; and yes...it would be wise to speculate that as the name implies - it can burn just as hot. That being said Hayato would keep grip of the girl and hold her while the clone approached, arm outreached towards her eyes where it would place its hand over both of hers and burn them from her sockets should she not follow the whim of a single command:

"Concede."

She could see it, the hand outstretched reaching towards her face glowing with chakra. The chakra was so radiant that even without the Byakugan the young girl could see it. What would happen if something like that was to make direct contact with her face? It would hurt... Yes it would hurt horribly bad. This was not time to continue her striking motion or even continue moving forward, but what could she do? How could she avoid his fist and make distance between them? Within the moment she was still outside this man's reach, Haia would focus as much chakra as she could into her outstretched arm and burst the chakra outwards.

This movement of chakra would cause a gale palm to extend from her pushing herself backwards and launching towards the man in front of her aiming to collide with his chest pressing into a few chakra and pressure points within his chest as she would hide back within the dark purple cloud from earlier. The girl within the cloud would be figuring out another way to attack against the man but she thought of a simple solution which she could use as she focused chakra within her body releasing several threads from her body.

The threads would be releases but could only be seen if one was right next to her but after a moment it seemed that several of the strings disappeared from sight and sensing them would be hard due to the young girl's dark cloud obscuring sensory abilities due to it being made of her own chakra in a dense dark cloud. The many threads would be aimed at Hayato but what would they be doing? How would they attack him and what was the girl doing within the dense fog about forty feet away from him as she now began to move about.
