It'd been a long week for Haia Hyuga, her squad was assigned with a relief mission to the Land of Waves to help and aid the people of Sector D where a massive flood happened. Haia herself had very little interest in actually doing this mission because it would be a long, strenuous, and annoying mission. Even though the squad she was assigned to had two strong members, she knew that she wouldn't be able to get away with avoiding any work at all. The only reason Haia agreed to the mission was that her mother told her it would make her stand out by offering aid rather than going for a flashy task that involved heavy combat.

As such Haia had been in the Land of Waves for a week now and was dealing with it well even though her squadmate Hiroshi Akimichi had been hitting on her for a while and in order to not break her innocent princess image shown before others she had been dealing with it well but the final straw was when he attempted to sneakily grab a chunk of her bottom. At that moment everyone would have looked over to see a giant round ball flying across the area before seeing a young girl with tiffany blue hair and lavender-colored eyes with no pupils having her arm outstretched as she huffed a bit before storming off into the direction of the Great Naruto Bridge, where her sensei Taishi Nara was stationed and helping defend the non-shinobi relief workers who came with them.

It took Haia the rest of the day to reach the bridge but when she got there at nightfall it was shrouded in a medium-thick mist that spread out around. She could not see much beyond ten feet in front of her which worried her and would give her trouble in finding anything let alone her sensei. With that in mind, the young girl activated her family's specialized dojutsu the Byakugan as her vision extended out in almost all directions for thirty-five meters. She continued to look around for her sensei though being quiet so as to not arouse and catch the attention of anything dangerous that may have been lurking around here at night.

Each step was rhythmic in nature as Ikki’s form danced across the bridge almost effortlessly. Afterall it was merely the human body’s most natural form of movement walking or at least that’s how most of the world saw it. When it came to Ikki however he preferred to run before he walked even the pace he held now was abnormal but just as he came to where the bridge connected the land of waves his form would crouch down with relative ease and like a spring board his image would disappear into a blur. The only thing that followed was a quaking in the earth and much like someone was shaking the wrinkles from a blanket the bridge itself rippled in the wake of such an aggressive motion. It would’ve been as if anyone on the bridge had been struck by the wake of a storm wind. Its form on the end connecting the land of waves across such a lengthy body of water would find the ground just before the pavement of the bridge had only two firmly planted footprints in the dirt. Ikki had effectively taken flight with only the power of his legs. While the distance was great the amount of times he stopped to get to his destination was exactly 0. It was as if he had bypassed the distance as a whole throwing his body through a frictionless void even if only for an instant. The thick fog that coated the bridge seemed to part even if only for a moment as Ikki’s form emerged meters away from the young woman in question as his now silhouetted physique began to part the mist all its own coated in a heavy steam even for the already humid air.

His body permeated an unnatural heat not from running across the bridge but from cushioning the impact of his form exiting through the void of his own Kamui and returning to the waking world. Had anyone been staring at his form through the eyes of a dojutsu or anything of the sorts they would find his body existing in an almost disturbed state. It was as if Ikki was existing as the apex predator with all of his senses standing on edge. His existence was pure in a state of rationality that only someone like him could understand. His heart pounded in his chest to the beat of his very own war drum. Where some might compartmentalize their minds, Ikki’s mind was often like stepping into a candle lit dojo. There was effectively a handshake between his waking self and his subconscious to allow for a being such as him to live in a consistent state of euphoria. In passing as he started to approach the young woman in question she would find his eyes lit ablaze with the amount of free flowing chakra throughout his very being. His head was tilted to the side as if curious to the reason someone so young would be standing in front of him as he continued his approach.

A sharp whistle would escape Ikki’s now puckered lips as even he was impressed with himself. He had managed to clear nearly half the bridge in what was effectively a single bound. Had this young woman found herself examining Ikki’s attire in those moments she would find what stood before her was oddly basic. He donned a drab green zip-up jacket with a high collar and a pair of black shinobi style pants with a matching pair of boots. He’d inevitably look down at this young woman as he now stood just shy of his own arms length away from her. He soon spoke and locked his gaze upon her frame with every ounce of his body seemingly poised to the nines.
“Ya lost?” and before she would even be able to answer she would be cut off. “Don’t answer that, you’ve just got that look about you. It just screams lost puppy.” He seemed almost excited to even be having the conversation in the first place. He didn’t really care what her response was; he simply hoped she wasn’t looking for some jonin he had already disposed of. Who was to say he hadn’t just as easily stuffed him somewhere on a barge somewhere drifting down river. He grinned as he stared at her with that same look of intrigue from before looking to see just what the leaf had to offer these days was like a pastime for Ikki the last he could remember functioning within the confines of a villages walls was when he was still a part of the land of water’s mist village he almost chuckled as the thought crossed his mind. He stuffed his hands in his pockets rummaging around for a moment before pulling out a battered hidden leaf headband and throwing it on the ground. His face still filled with a bright eyed sense of euphoria about it still looked as though he was concerned for her. Now like a predator watching its prey he wanted to see whether or not she was going to run or stand and fight. If there was one thing about Ikki when he was like this it was that he loved to play with his food.

As she continued walking with her Byakugan active, Haia realized that the mist was only thick enough to barely obscure the vision of someone with regular eyesight. The density was thin enough to see more than almost feet fifty in front of oneself which for a Byakugan wielder especially a skilled one seeing through the mist was quite the easy feat. Haia sighed a bit as she looked around not being able to see any of the jonin or chunin stationed here from either the Land of Waves or Fire. She felt that was odd and rather suspicious which made her mildly nervous as she focused her eyes to her limit being able to see about fifty meters ahead of herself though this was strenuous, to say the least.

When the perceptive ability of Haia's Byakugan spread outwards in all directions she would notice an abnormality of chakra that seemed to be moving swiftly in her direction. The first thing she would notice would be a disruption in the air showing a pool of chakra in a singular area almost distorting it. This irregular distortion would soon release what would be a man flying from the edge of Haia's range swiftly moving towards her like a rocket. The moment this man entered into Haia's normal range of Byakugan use without overstraining herself she would jump back a bit assuming her would land somewhere within her vicinity,

Her assumption was correct as the man landed before her and began to speak to her. His tone of voice and mannerisms reminded Haia of her eldest brother. It was a look of someone who was treating her as beneath her... No, it was as if she was just a toy to play with. This irritated Haia but she simply held what would look like anyone who did not know her a bubbly soft smile as this man finished his sentence by calling her a puppy, a lost one at that. If he was perceptive he would notice an instant twitch that was removed the very second it happened as the young girl simply took a step back as the man dropped the worn-down headband.

As he dropped it in front of her Haia took a defensive position similar to preparing to strike with the gentle fist technique though not showing any form of malice before responding, "Quite rude sir, I am not a lost puppy, I am here to report on the rescue efforts of Sector D of the Land of Waves." She said continuing to observe the area around her looking for anyone else as this man seemed highly suspicious but so far had shown no signs of aggression or any form of threat to her so she could not act on assumptions assuming her was sent as another member of this diplomatic squad from the Land of Fire. She was waiting for him to make a move or explain his reasoning for being here while still upholding her bubbly nature and gentle tone towards the man.

Ikki looked down at this young woman when she called him rude and almost wanted to laugh in her face. Rude was such a quaint way to greet an embodiment of death in only its simplest form, the hands of another human being. He gave her a nod of recognition as she mentioned being on a mission and yet Ikki had other plans for her. His lips parted like the seas as he began to speak “That seems pretty irresponsible since there isn’t a soul left in that direction.” He tossed a closed hand and thumb over his shoulder to point in the direction behind him. He wasn’t even remotely joking about the level of irresponsibility a village would have to have in order to send what effectively equated to a child to a place like this. Yet he didn’t care that much as if a village like the leaf was willing to let the slaughter of an entire clan be nothing more than a passing tragedy, how was this any different. He took in a deep breath and with that the temperature of the air around him seemed to rise even further where mist existed there was now a thickening steam taking its place. His lips curled into a smile as he continued to look upon her as he recognized a look of poise when he saw one. It didn’t really matter how well she would inevitably attempt to hide it but if there was one thing common between the dojutsu they possessed it was that hiding things simply wasn’t an option. His posture changed over so slightly as he spread his form with arms open wide.

In doing this the ground would quake just like it had before but if this young woman was even remotely perceptive she would find that the bridge would begin to shake. This wasn’t because of the essence Ikki exuded now but the essence from before. The ripple he’d caused before was now catching up with him and his new found compatriot on the other side. Like a whale breaching the surface of the water. The bridge’s form would first ripple up causing their location to in turn rise upward before slamming down with enough force to cause a hint of break away underneath. The pillar that held its form crunched under the sudden shock of its own weight being tossed around. Had this young woman forgotten the very basics of being a shinobi she would in turn find Ikki striking out at her like a viper. His feet appeared to be firmly planted despite the motion of the bridge and when he moved the fluidity of such was almost inconceivable as he reached out to touch the young woman. She would find that in those moments Ikki’s chakra was at a point of combustion. It was functioning in its rawest form. There was no use of hand signs or even a hint of intent behind it. The motions were fluid yet primal as when his hand reached out it would be aimed to grab the air next to this young woman's face if attempting to conjure something from nothing. What she would in turn find was that was exactly what Ikki had done; a radiant hue of gold would emerge in turn with his hand being drawn back in a closed fist. She would in turn find that Ikki’s hand was now clenched shut with his fingers woven around a pair of nunchucks. Their form was simplistic simple gold rods tied together by a matching gold chain. These weapons formed against her were indeed formed to prosper and had she not been careful she would find Ikki’s quaint magic trick so much more than a ploy to grab a weapon of his own making. The air in which he’d pulled this weapon from would in turn be filled with that very same combustible chakra meaning that once Ikki pulled his weapon back this woman would in turn find out just how volatile it was. His hand now filled with his weapon would return with haste leaving her with only moments to make a decision on whether to defend herself or be severely injured.
ikki let’s gamble.png
What separated the two of them in these moments wasn’t skill or age but the very mechanics of their being were skewed. She possessed the byakugan which in almost all of its facets was all seeing to a degree and yet what made the byakugan stagnant in the eyes of Ikki was the fact that there was no progression. This meant much like the very crimson eyes he possessed it required more than just physical ability to wield. However as he began to lash out with a follow up to the combustion of his own chakra she could find his crimson hues fast at work. It was merely a byproduct of genetic mutation between the two. Where the byakugan could see all in the physical sense it could not perceive the world with a sense of dilation. Had she moved to react to the lashing out of Ikki’s fist she could find him ready to respond without hesitation with a seemingly effortless level of prowess. While he didn’t seek to truly break this young woman just yet he wanted to see just what the leaf had to offer these days. Had she not moved however she would find that Ikki’s retracted arm would continue in its motions like a flowing river. His hand would return to his side only to have the nunchucks snap to life. Their form would in turn coil outward in an upward arc aiming to strike this young woman clean into the air had she not been careful. Yet had she been launched asunder she would find Ikki wasn’t following at all but instead awaiting her descent and inevitable impact with the now stationary bridge.

The ripples of chakra that were coming from behind this man were noticed instantly by Haia who at the moment the bridge began to quake would swiftly remember the last thing her mentor taught her. Though not many genin would be able to apply this technique right away, Haia with her chakra control and precision could easily use the method of placing chakra on the soles of her feet to anchor herself to her relative position allowing her to walk upon moving surfaces like water or climb up a tree. As she did this when the man who had not given his name approached her swiftly reaching out his arm and aiming near her head.

Haia seeing this would begin to focus on the tenketsu within the man's arm, as she did Haia would focus chakra into her palm as she would strike upwards towards the man's arm in a flash giving him little time to react, had he not reacted fast enough her strike would seal four tenketsu within the man's arm stopping the flow of chakra. If he tried to pull his arm backward Haia would rotate towards him spinning her arms and body in a rapid motion creating what would look like a spherical cyclone around herself pushing out any forms of projectiles and foreign chakras around her, the rotation would come from her releasing chakra from all of her own tenketsu.

While rotating if the man was unable to avoid her rotation he would be knocked back and struck several times blocking many of the tenketsu around his body especially the ones within his arms and legs. Had he been paying attention he would have noticed that only the first blow of the rotation was a physical strike against his being. Had Haia succeeded in striking the man and seeing his chakra away she would stop the rotation and look at him wondering why someone like him was nearby and what happened to all the Jonin stationed here from two different lands and what would now become of her squad and herself.

Ikki wasn’t even remotely phased by the girl’s knee jerk reaction. In fact he wasn’t going to treat this like a bout with his father where they wanted to see just how far the other had come. His teeth chomped at the bit just to bare witness so when this young woman began her attempted assault reality would set in and rather quickly at that. When she brought her arm up in response Ikki’s own physique wouldn’t react but a golden appendage of his own would reach out to meat it. It would’ve been like this young woman had struck nothing but the tufts of a dandelion. However the impact would remain just as fierce as she intend only Ikki’s form would’ve been a blur in response to this faux impact. Through the crimson view of Ikki her motions were like a person fighting through quicksand. Her motions would come across as sluggish giving his brain plenty of time to process and react in those moments. Things were about to change for this young woman. When she began the start of her rotation she could find that faux arm Ikki left behind crumbling under the weight of her strike as it was seemingly hollow and filled to the brim with what effectively equated to a flammable gas like methane or even hydrogen. She would be able to see it with the aid of her byakugan but by the time she would truly bare witness it was far too late. The gold structure of the arm would crumble away into nothing as she would inevitably move about her way to continue striking.

However in those moments it would’ve been as if this young girl was staring into a mirror watching herself rotate. Ikki’s own rotation would begin in response and soon the two would be dancing on the bridge like they were a part of a ballet. Ikki would’ve spun his own farm to be directly behind her at this point however rather than being shunned away by her rotation he would draw himslef closer and what this young woman would find is that even the flow of her own chakra would be disturbed. What would likely come next in the average shinobi’s mind is that they were under a genjutsu of some kind but rather than that she would find herself in the presence of an almost unnatural warmth. Had she been paying close attention she could find that when Ikki was radiating heat earlier from exiting his own void of kamui he was effectively “jumpstarting” his system in the same way she had activated her byakugan and began analyzing the world around her. However it seemed she didn’t examine hard enough as Ikki would soon follower her rotation exhaling along the way. It would’ve been as if she was standing in the presence of a demon as a wreath of warmth would inevitably wrap around her with each spin. She could in turn find that standing so close to the young mebu in question was exuding what he referred to as “The Kiln of Seiryu” the disturbance she would likely feel in his would be a cause for alarm but it was enough to give Ikki just the opportunity he was looking for. Had this young woman not reacted in response to her own chakra struggling to escape her tenketsu she could find that Ikki’s form was ready to strike with ease.
ikki let’s gamble.png
He had gotten behind the young woman in her furious rotation and merely followed suit only in an attempt to grab her by the waist. Had she not been capable of reacting in those moments she would find her feet no longer planted and with a whisper Ikki’s voice would call out to her with the slightest sense of urgency “Primary lotus..” in order to cause a bit of heart racing panic within her. However what she would find was that he had not taken her into the air at all in order to drop her from obscene height but in fact he aimed to suplex her. She could find that if she wasn’t prepared for either she would be dropped clean onto her head with her skull firmly planted into the concrete foundation of the bridge. What Hyuuga often lacked in Ikki’s eyes with exception of Hakai was outright brutality. He cared not for her clan heritatge let alone what means of royalty she may have needed to prove. He brandished a hate unlike no other, a bred from necessity, a hate bred from the overwhelmingly enormous crushing weight of Naraka itself. He wasn’t here to spin in circles and flail his hands around, Ikki was here to test this young womans mettle. Had she even survived let alone found a way to truly stop this interaction she could find that Ikki would be pushed back with his form sizzling but it wouldn’t be from the onslaught this woman had delivered in fact it would fall in line with those crimson eyes he possessed something set him apart from other uchiha of his bloodline and she was about to find out as Ikki’s abilities were often modelled after those who fought before him. His machinations were almost always scientific until proven functional and this was one of those instances where functionality was the name of the game.

As she began her strike into the extended arm of the man who approached her and seemed to have malicious intent. She would notice the sudden extension of chakra that seemed to meet against her strike through her ocular prowess she would notice the chakra extension taking note of it as the man would retract his arm from near her face. She began to create her rotation technique as she moved toward the man to push him backward.

While she was rotating Haia noticed something unusual happening around herself or rather something unnatural from the man she was fighting. She felt like her rotation was not only being suppressed by something but that was not the main thing that was unusual for Haia. The thing that she took the most notice of was that through her Byakugan, she could see the man beginning to close in upon her from behind.

Rather than attempting to run away or attempting to counter quickly, Haia knew that her speed was lesser than this man's, rather it would be smarter to brace for the impact of his incoming attack and attempt to damage him in the process as such when he got closer and her chakra was being suppressed outside she would switch from using her gentle fist to her Kumo style techniques. Haia would focus her chakra into her tenketsu and out through her pores as such creating thick web-like armor around her body the moment the man would’ve made contact with her. It would be an almost instant formation of armor as it formed from the mineral in her sweat and her chakra being manipulated into a physical form around her.

If the man continued his attack he would notice himself being stabbed through his chest as the chakra would penetrate outward creating spikes from the back of Haia attempting to pierce into his chest when he grabbed her as she accepted the fall as the armor with the strength of steel would protect her giving her a chance to recover and attack the man whom she would hope would be injured from the spike that pierced through his chest most likely hitting several vital organs. If the man could avoid the strike at close range somehow while he grappled her, Haia would flip through the air landing safely before staring in the man’s direction looking for an opening to either escape or attempt to take him down.

Ikki’s form seemingly peeled away once again however this was a culmination of things rather than simply relying on his souzou subarashii this young woman would find the same thing waiting for her. His form a cushion and her body still meeting the pavement however it was akin to when the Uchiha of old used the technique known as Kamui. His true form would become intangible as it was in combination passing through both her and his own golden physique leaving him to come out of the other side like a ghost of the past. His muscular form flexed with each passing motion only to leave him standing over her with a spring in his step. His body would no sooner be in the air, merely the entirety of his six foot form with his knees nestled firmly within his chest. Had the young mebu been at the pool it would’ve been as if he shouted “CANNON BALL” at the pool as his feet would in turn shoot downward and like striking a match within a bucket of gasoline this young woman would find the air around her becoming far more combustible than an oxygen filled environment.
main-qimg-a8530228c1ac85aeea33ad595f04b9b4

Ikki had been baiting this young woman into a close quarters interaction she couldn’t resist. His legs wouldn’t even touch the young woman but the air around her after she’d punctured this hollowed form of subarashii. The science behind it was simple really; it was as if he was turning his very essence into a flammable substance leaving behind traces of his potent chakra in order to turn it into a sort of lightning rod. It was odd in reality looking from the outside in. Ikki was applying dozens of aspects from various chakra elements to the most destructive and simplest of them all, fire. He was treating his chakra as if it were a children's toy playing with its aspects in order to mold it to his own benefit. He would commend the girl only because what she was doing was admirable to say the least. When this explosion would likely occur she would find that Ikki hadn’t even touched her form at all in fact he was hovering mere feet over her with just enough to leave a stop gap of sorts. The flames that would likely erupt from this location weren’t even azure which meant they hadn’t been blessed by the essence of seiryu at all; this was merely an application of his intelligence as a whole. It would’ve been vibrant and crimson as if tainted by blood yet it was only the most basic form of a shinobi’s fire chakra.

Had this young woman thought herself dead however she would find that the only thing broken about her was the spider sticky gold she’d covered herself in. Ikki wasn’t looking to kill this girl in the same way he had done her respective jounin. Although had this young woman wasted away from the sheer fear of death itself Ikki would inevitably be disappointed in that aspect alone. He always felt as though a shinobi's one true job was to endure no matter what. If she couldn’t handle a little explosion then what exactly was she hoping to accomplish in a world like this. His lips would curl into a smile however had she risen to her feet even if there was a shaken look in her eyes or something of the sort. He would also follow said smile with a high pitched whistle signaling “Pheeeeew”

The struggle was real as this man was pushing Haia to go into territory she was not used to, whether that territory is the fact that she had to use taijutsu which she was not used to against this man and having it countered in ways she could not comprehend or the fact that she was struggling even to attempt to land a blow against him when the other genin usually have trouble striking her due to her Byakugan, Gentle fist techniques, and her armor of sticky gold when she has to use it.

Now Haia was faced with this man blocking her strikes again in an unknown way in which she could see the chakra blocking her palm but not being able to understand how to break through it or deal with it. When the man's chakra once more was preparing to explode around her, instead of doing something like her rotation again or trying to dodge within a short time frame, Haia simply increased the density, textile strength, and durability by pouring chakra into her armor of sticky gold making it even more resilient to absorb the blast for her as she made a single hand seal moments before the explosion happened. That one hand seal as she saw the man moving away and into the air saved her life as the explosion would happen. Still, the smoke would clear revealing only an empty shell of scorched and damaged sticky gold while from behind the man in a distance would come to a spear being launched at relatively high speeds.

The spear was aimed at the man's abdomen as Haia stood there holding her side slightly scorched from being partly caught in the explosion before using substitution to avoid the full blast. She would look at the Ikki with an irritated grimace, no longer trying to hide her princess-like demeanor. She stared daggers at him with a glare of pure killing intent no genin should be able to produce. Anyone who knew Haia well could tell she was less irritated about the fight, the damage to her physical being, or even the fact that he started the fight out of nowhere. No Haia was irritated that her hair which took over an hour to get right in the Land of Waves where her family's maids, butlers, and other servants were not around and she had to do it herself. She hated anyone damaging her hair and face and this man had done both. Had the spear struck the man would feel it pierce into him before Haia would make a hand seal causing it to burst inside of him and release what would feel like shrapnel into his body when in actuality it would be her spider webs piercing into the very fibers of his being.

Even while being hurt Haia was going to at least take this Cretan down with her if it was the last thing she did. She focused her Byakguan more than ever in order to track every move he would make. She could see the muscles twitch in his body before they even began to take action. She could see his windpipe as the area within him was moving in and out and any minute chakra use would be noticed with ease due to her heightened used of the Byakugan and her unnaturally awakened state due to a near-fatal experience.

Ikki knew the young woman would survive after all that was his intention; death wasn’t the only way to get one's point across. As the dust settled and there remained nothing but a husk of this young woman's form he would almost instinctively turn to face her direction and despite distance it would appear as if he was staring directly into her very soul. He knew very well she could see his form and had she been paying close enough attention to his mouth she could find him mouthing the phrase “Predictable.” In turn when she launched that spear she could find that Ikki had sucked in a deep breath before expelling what easily equated to a pebble. Yet its form was molten as if an ember freshly plucked from a bonfire now shot directly at the spear she had just thrown. When the two made contact she would find that rather than staying its course it would begin to effectively cartwheel turning end over end in a swathe of flames. The end result would be the spear now in shambles as it fell short of Ikki’s position colliding with the ground before bursting into nothing but ash. Her efforts were well thought out to say the least, something like that meant the leaf was at best making an effort to cultivate the next generation. He chuckled, having a freudian slip in a moment of supposed reflection when it came to the battle at hand. His gaze hadn’t shifted from this young woman despite the distance she had put between the two of them. The only thing that changed in these moments was that Ikki’s hand shot out as if reaching for the newly formed pile of azure charcoal that was once this young woman's spear. What was ash besides a byproduct of flame itself and those of azure let alone any other were at his beckon call. When he stuck his hand out and brought the ashes into his grasp they would become solid and take upon the shape of a javelin, its form coiled tight as if mimicking a snake before Ikki launched an attack of his own. Like a bolt fired from a ballista the javelins form would spiral through the thick foggy air with ease. He wanted her to see it coming, Ikki wanted to see just what her response would be to such ferocity. Had she not successfully defended she could find the javelin meeting her with an equal level of lethality aimed to strike her through the chest.

She was putting up a good effort but there was something about her that Ikki wanted to break. Just like he was all those years ago, broken by the might of a man much stronger than himself at the time. Although something about her was different than himself at that age. He recognized power in its finest form and that was something she lacked. Had she survived his attack she could find himself standing on his end of the bridge with his arms open wide once again beckoning for her to come forth. Yet Ikki could play the long game whether that was reference to the duration of the battle at hand or the distance it was meant to be had at was yet to be seen. Soon this young woman would have a rude awakening awaiting her as the air would become baited with chakra as if Ikki had completely changed the atmosphere of the battlefield in question with each breath he took. He would take in another deep breath once more before expelling a cloud of what appeared to be steam replacing even more of the locale with whatever it truly was. Through her eyes it would be as if she was looking at the essence of an Aburame, the fog itself being laced with chakra akin to the aforementioned clan’s insect jamming but there was clearly something more afoot.

The battle was progressing quickly and everything was escalating outside of Haia's plans, not just her everyday plans but the careful planning she was set up with as the battle went on. It was like the man could read her thoughts which made it annoying as her counters were reactive while it seemed like his counters were proactive. The tedious idea that she needed to catch this man off guard to end this fight was running through her mind as Haia saw her spears turn to charcoal before falling to the ground beneath the man.

The whole time this man was making his move Haia was setting up her own as the spears of flames formed and launched towards her. The man would see a large wall of webbing form in front of the young girl removing her from his sight both physically and spiritually. Within that time frame, two attacks would come from both sides of the young man, the first before a spear launched just over him made with immense durability and the tip pointed to a fine piercing needle. The second attack would come from the other side which would reveal what would look like a bomb made of webbing that had been tossed at the man from his blind spot aiming for a chance to seemingly capture him. On both sides Ikki would see Haia standing there and both would begin making hand seals preparing to their next strike against the man before he had time to retaliate against their surprise strike. The Haia on not in his blind spot never moved their thumb while making hand seals.
