The clear day was beautiful with the sun high above clearing away darkness and giving birth to light and shadows that cascaded over the lesser-known temple which seemed unnervingly silent. The tedium of the day would soon be broken by the sounds of gentle footsteps as the silhouette of a young man would appear from the distance. The young man's silhouette stretched off into the distance for a moment before retreating back to the young man as they closer approached the temple. They looked around for a moment being fully revealed as the sunlight removed the silhouette over their image.

The young man stood at about five foot seven inches tall and seemed to be from the village of Sunagakure. One could tell easily by looking at the dark black Sunagakure symbol upon the back of his black-robed torso while his pants seemed to be standard for shinobis. The blackened dark robe seemed to sway a bit when he moved to reveal a few shinobi pouches around his waist that seemed to have various kanji engraved upon them. This young man was
Shamon, a chunin from Sunagakure who was drawn to this place as he was hunting mysteries that would allow him to grow stronger and protect his village well using those mysterious strengths he had gained. His pale skin and greyish-white hair were things that stood out but the thing that stood out most was his unusual dark-looking robe.

All that was heard there at first was the sound of two footsteps and then a gust of wind. Had the man turned around he would find none other than the current wind shadow - standing approximately fifty feet back behind him. This was none other than Eiji Sarutobi - or at least unbeknownst to this man an itteration of him from a distant place long forgotten. None the less - a kage recognizes his village symbol and as such he did so in reference to the man before him. His young expression seemed painted on in how stiff it shifted from curious back to puzzled and vice versa looking at him. He wore the traditional robe of the Kazekage - as well as the hat, covering all of his body save for the face. He'd spoken not a word at all but had simply been looking at the man at this point with a somewhat condescendingly amused expression upon his face as the dirt on the floor of the temple shifted - casting over the pair of footprints that had at one, stopped short - where the other matched his current stance and position as he spoke: "Sunagakure. Can't mistaken that anywhere but...I don't know you. Hmph...give me a reason I should remember you then, why don't you?" with that being said he would raise a gloved hand as if to beckon the man towards him and a shadow would appear there on the ground before him getting increasingly large with the moment till finally something fell from the sky. With a big impact - dust would be scattered to the winds - cascading all around the man save for a few feet behind him where it seemed plumes of dust refused to adhere to their usual path. Standing before him now would be a mannequin-like figure adorned in a hooded robe, Imperious - the first of his puppets. The puppet would stand at the ready, palms open wide as the two would look upon their opponent equally as motionless in their patient station.

Interesting, a former kage of the Sunagakure or someone who wished to pretend to be one. This person appeared with only the sounds of their footsteps being heard before a strong wind picked up from behind Shamon which revealed this person who he had never seen before. Shamon would take precautions as he looked at the mysterious person dressed in the Wind Kage attire. Mysterious, unnatural, and eerie were the words Shamon would use to describe this man but the next thing to happen would embody the word eerie, and that was when the man seemed to summon down a meteorite or something. As the shadow closed in on them Shamon would jump back as his chakra seemed to spike for a moment and when the dust settled all that could be seen was that his former dark black cloak had disappeared when the puppet known as Imperious collided with the ground.

As such when the man known as Eiji seemed to taunt the impetus young man, he would reply in kind as the various shinobi pouches upon his waist would open up and he pulled out a large group of very dark gray kunai that seemed abnormal in a way. You could definitely tell that his chakra was in them but beyond that the only noticeable difference between the ones Shamon pulled out and normal kunai. He tossed each of the Kunai at Imperious and Eiji. There were about eighteen in total nine aimed at Eiji and nine aimed at Imperious. Had they been paying close attention they would notice something unusual from under the kunai that were thrown at them. Had the kunai hit them Eiji would be impaled while the kunai were aimed for the joints of Imperious to disrupt his movement ability.

-In the moment that the man opened up the pouches on his body the pair started to ready themselves. Both taking a step forward almost as if in sync with one another as the kunai started to be flung at them. When this happened the first to act was Imperious, thrusting his hand forward in a manner as if to project something ahead of them and it was in that same manner in which he did just so. Suddenly a high frequency burst of chakra vibrated from his hand and spanned out before the kunai - watching them wobble and then become stiff mid air before he struck his hand down and let them stab straight into the ground between the two. This being done there was just enough of a gap between that in which once the kunai stopped before they could hit the ground the image of Eiji would be seen taking a wide arc to the right around the area in which the kunai were flying. The boy would focus chakra through himself and with a blunt sound almost a'kin to wood being struck he took off towards their opponent once clear of the kunai and closed the gap spiraling inwards towards him through the air. Had this not gone stopped then the moment he got close enough the spiraling colors that Eiji had become would stop with a vicious kick - straight down with the back of his foot aimed for the top of the opponents head, a distraction - meant to keep the man in place as Imperious let the same arm that was held out, segment at the elbow and open up; revealing a compartment inside in which three baseball sized poison bombs were spat in a triad before him. They would roll over towards the two and explode - engulfing the area they were meant to combat in inside a cloud of magenta smoke - a very potent toxin. Imperious would stand back and chuckle, listening to the sounds of some object slicing through the wind as the proceedings went forward...though the origin of this sound...was a mystery in itself.-

Underestimating is a great word that every shinobi, warrior, scholar, or person dealing with another should know. Shamon himself was very well versed in this word as many people underestimated his young demeanor and his youth giving them the impression that he was easy to catch off guard. Shamon did not know what sorcery Eiji used against him to stop his kunai but he could make it out to be akin to something like a barrier or telekinesis the way it happened. But he knew very well that his chakra was still coursing through the kunai and that whatever Imperious used to negate the kunai was no longer there but the same was true for Eiji who had moved in a flash and was coming to kick him swiftly.

Shamon smirked though as he expected this and the moment that Eiji was moving in close to him he would notice that the kunai that were aimed for Imperious would shift and retract backward towards him before he got close enough to strike at Shamon. Shamon's chakra coursing through them made them aim directly at the back of the man known as Eiji sarutobi. Along with the kunai coming forward, Eiji would notice within the particles in the air that were whipped up earlier by Imperious landing small black particles which seemed to surround Shamon forming his cloak once more. This was iron sand and Shamon was using magnet release to hold it together and the sand would cushion the blow had Eiji continued going in with the attack.

Though if Eiji was not looking closely he would never notice what was coming from underneath the cloak from the group of shinobi storage pouches that seemed to hold space-time abilities. Had Eiji not dodged the kunai and been struck by them he would be in rather large trouble as the iron sand within the kunai would spread throughout his body turning him into something akin to a living human puppet for Shamon but had he dodged and still managed to land his kick against Shamon something much more would happen. While before Imperious' bombs could make it to them, the kunai that were aimed at Eiji would raise up and create a iron sand shield that would engulf the bombs before they could reach and absorb the poison.

In the moment that the boy initiated his plan - everything had gone the way that they had figured it would. This was signified by the way that Imperious tilted his head and to the mind of Eiji he would have heard his voice in narration: "You finished yet?" though it was apparent that in the manner he talked something else was going on. After he spurned Eiji on - all that would have been heard was "Ugh - don't rush me!" but it was not coming from the physical form that had been kicking. However this kick would land flush - and in the distance back behind Imperious where the extra pair of footprints had been - there would start to form a visual image of Eiji. In the midst of the poison bombs clouding the area his visual image came into apparent sight - though the opponent would not get to see it; his shields pushing the poison up in a cloud to the extent that there was now a wall of poison gas blocking the view between them. However Eiji could see his target just fine, directly through the optical sensors of the puppet likeness of him that had landed said kick. But the kick was not important - inconsequential as it were. The sound that had been cutting the wind prior had been the true Eiji weaving handseals and in this moment that Imperious had ceased projecting the mirror cloaking Axon signal off Eiji he would become visible again - this seen in how the shoulder and waist plates that resembled mirror armor on Eiji's body quit vibrating in that moment, no longer bouncing back signals in perpetuity. "Ice Style: Crystal Ice Gaol" he spoke as he finished the handseal - using the puppet's visual reference to target his opponent and incase both him and the puppet inside a dome of ice. Once this had been done and the kunai stuck the side of the puppet - it was too late. The cloak would be shreded open by the kunai cutting into it at the angle he was at and underneath? An apparent reason as to why the likeness had been concealed from neck down. The puppet was an "unfinished" model (unfinished referring to a paint coating), and beneath it was the raw color and texture of a wooden puppet. As it struck - its chasis opened up and from inside of it a bunch of black orbs - etched with faces and glowing eyes poured out around the feet of them both, there had to be two dozen of them and as they hit the ground they bounced just before they started to glow and ignite. The true form of Eiji was dressed in a black cloak - with a hood down at his back and in this moment he couldnt stop chuckling, mainly because of the goofy way that in his mind - the bombs yelled, and ranted - cursing their opponent and complaining about the cramped space they were in. He knew that it wasnt real, no one else was hearing it beside him - and it was perhaps that which made him laugh the most...it was almost a pacifying behavior - trying to convince himself that this was a humorous situation and that he didnt look entirely insane...battling with the parts of him that argued "So what if I'm insane? This entire world has become insane." as the smirks fidgeted across his lips only for him to deny it fruition by keeping his expression stiff. The bombs went off with boisterous loud explosions - and being set off in the same small area the effect and following shockwave of the explosions caused a bright light there at ground zero and a mess of the trees around them to be blown back and some of the lesser blown down. Eiji simply stood behind Imperious for cover, and pulled his cloak collar up over his face a bit...both covering his mouth and nose from the debris as well as concealing his conflicting expressions.
